Where it goes

Three things a household cannot wait for.

Meals

Hot food and dry rations bought locally, at local prices, and handed to families we know by name.

Water & hygiene

Drinking water, soap, sanitary supplies and diapers. Small things that decide whether a child gets sick this month.

Winter essentials

Blankets, heating fuel and warm clothes before the cold arrives, not after. Winter is the season that empties a poor household fastest.

How a gift is split

70% meals 20% water & hygiene 10% winter

Nothing is taken for salaries or offices. Network fees on the receiving side are the only cost, and they are published.

    Questions

    Asked before you ask.

    Is my donation tax-deductible?

Not unless stated by your jurisdiction. We do not issue tax receipts; we publish the transaction itself, which is a stronger record than most receipts.

    What fees are taken?

None by us. The only cost is the network fee your wallet charges to send, and the small fee we pay to move funds when buying supplies. Both are visible on-chain.

Which network should I use, and can a mistake be undone?

We currently accept USDT on ERC20 (Ethereum) and Solana. Use the one your wallet or exchange already supports, and send USDT only, on the network you selected: blockchain transfers are final and we cannot reverse them. If you sent by mistake, write to us with the transaction id and we will do what is fair and possible.

Why does the ledger show only money coming in?

Because that is what a donor needs to check: that the gift arrived, when, and on which network. Our wallets are watched for incoming transfers only; what we spend is reported with photographs in Updates, so the two records never get mixed.

    How does verification work?

Our addresses are watched on their public networks. An incoming USDT transfer is matched by its transaction id and marked verified once confirmed. A claim you submit stays marked pending until the transfer is found on-chain.

    Who runs this?

Sentinel NGO is the charitable arm of Sentinel Holdings, run by its founder from Lebanon. Distributions are done in person with local partners, and photographed for the updates above.
